£25 Actuarial Report

£25 Actuarial Report   Online order process:
The pensions Actuarial Report costs only £25 (Excl VAT) per pension scheme valued, the same price paid by family solicitors, IFAs and other professionals that use this service to value pensions on divorce.
It takes as little as ten minutes to complete the whole process online, quickly and cost effectively calculating the value of a defined benefit (final salary) pension scheme.
The end result is a five page report signed off by an accredited actuary that you can print out and discuss the findings of the report with your solicitor. See an example of the specimen actuarial report. If the pension scheme is part of the police, fire & rescue, armed forces and prison services, complete the £50 Uniformed Services Report.

Before starting the online form, please compare your scheme provider quote with the valuation examples and ensure you have the information required at hand. Required are 15 pieces of simple data, excluding payment information. See a summary of the information required.

You will be taken to the form completion page of our partner actuary Bradshaw Dixon Moore
and their credit/debit card payment page operated by Protx*, so please make sure you have a Visa, MasterCard or Maestro card ready. An automatic acknowledgement of the card payment is sent to the email address that you nominate and the pdf** Pensions Actuarial Report package includes a VAT invoice.

Report advantages:

It applies to any Defined Benefit (final salary) pension where the CETV may be significantly undervalued by up to 30%, or even more in some cases;
It costs only £25 (Excl VAT) per pension valued, the same price paid by family solicitors, IFAs and other professionals that use this service to value pensions on divorce;
The process only takes about 10 minutes and you can save and/or print out your report;
It can be used by the scheme member or spouse to validate the accuracy of a CETV from a pension provider;
The end result is a 5-page report signed off by an accredited actuary that you can print out and discuss the findings of the report with your solicitor;
Where the divorcing parties are amicable and desire a swift resolution, it can be used as a quick and cost effective method of valuing the pension assets;
The pensions Actuarial Report can be used for cases heard in the Scottish courts;
The report can be used to determine if a comprehensive and expensive Bespoke Report including actuarial calculations for court purposes will be to your benefit.

The Express Pension Valuation system used to calculate values works on a limited amount of data and thus cannot give a definitive value for a defined benefit (final salary) scheme. It is intended as a tool to determine what further action should be taken and it is not intended to be relied upon in court. Due to differences in the legal system, it is not suitable for use in any cases outside the UK. Where an individual is receiving payments under a pension the £25 Actuarial Report must not be used, as a different valuation method is required.
